my spine is screwed up :)

So I have started seeing the chiropractor once more. I had new x-rays taken of my cervical and lumbar spine. Since I have most of my pain in my lumbar spine and sacrum (although a fair amount in my cervical as well) I assumed that there would be obvious signs of misalignment there. However, this was not the case. "Yes, your lumbar spine has a slight shift/twist to one side, maybe your pelvis is twisted the other way and by the way your right leg is 7mm short..but actually the real deformity (I mean sublaxation) is in your cervical spine. Yeah, see the spine is supposed to be curved this way, and well it seems to only have 2 percent of the normal curve. It is actually curved the other direction in some areas and your atlas isn't sitting correctly on C2." !!!! Yikes! No wonder I have neck pain and headaches!

Actually, it's all inherited, your neck x-ray looks pretty close to your mother's, so I can sympathize with your aches and pains. Sorry.

Sorry that we may not make the Curiously Strong Party, it really sounds like fun. Unfortunately it is at the same time as Uncle Murry's 50th Birthday Party and also on the same day that we fly out of SeaTac, but if we can and the little girls hold up we'll try to get to a bit of it.

I have the same thing. It really helps to have your legs the same length! Especially with skiing. It feels really weird the day after you get it lined up -like your foot is too big on that side.
Good Luck!
