In the past every time it has snowed I said we should go out into the hottub, but we never did. Well, today we did. Unfortunately, besides it being freezing outside, the temperature in the hottub had never been turned up since summer. 96 degrees doesn't feel warm when it's snowing. So we didn't last long and then had to run barefoot back to the house before we froze!
Earlier today we cut out snowflakes and snowman for our decor. Looks good, yes?
To top it off, we enjoyed hot chocolate while watching the snow pour down!

It looks so cozy looking out the window at the snow... I used to go out, now I just keep warm and watch the delight of the young ones and the antics of my neighbors as they scrape away at their driveways and I smile. I will just wait for it to melt.
Teresa, do you remember when I'd wake you up at midnight so we could run out and play in the snow before the rain took it all away by the next morning? Then you'd get up really early on snowy school mornings to listen to the School closure and late start lists on KOMO just so you'd know if you could sleep in?

Since we made our snowman, we have tried twice to make another. But it has been too dry of snow... That isn't supposed to happen around here!!!!
Awesome snowman! We made a couple mini ones, but the snow wasn't working all that well for us.
